HOW WILL THEY FEEL?

When applied properly they should feel completely weightless. My clients are often so surprised after their lash appointment that they cannot feel them at all, which is exactly what we want. Usually if they do feel uncomfortable they is something not quite right, but this is usually something so small, like a lash being out of place and easily fixed.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU NEED INFILLS?

This depends on your natural lashes and aftercare. Generally you should aim to have an infill every 2-3 weeks which is normally 1 hour. Remember that picking/pulling at your lashes, sunbeds, saunas and oily make up products can shorten the lash life.

WILL THEY DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

When applied properly lash extensions will not damage your natural lashes. They fall out naturally when your natural lashes do and this makes way for new lashes that are growing through. You will only accumulate gaps in your lash line if you pull the lash extensions out prematurely

WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS MADE OF?

Eyelash extensions are a synthetic material which have been shaped into different curls, lengths and thicknesses.

WHY ARE MY EYES RED AFTER APPLICATION?

This doesn't happen all the time but can sometimes occur after lash application and is down to the glue fumes. It can also happen if you have tired eyes but it should go within 24 hours.

HOW DO I KNOW IF IM HAVING A REACTION?

In the unlikely event that you have a reaction you may experience itching, redness, flaking, swollen or even puffy eyes. Please DO NOT ignore any of these signs and inform me straight away. The most important thing if you have a reaction is to take the lashes off, this will usually occur in the first 24-48 hours. If ignored the reaction could worsen, please inform me as soon as you notice any of these signs and I will remove the lashes FREE OF CHARGE. I would then advise you to seek medical advise as I cannot give this nor can I suggest treatment. Patch Tests are recommended prior to your appointment but are not essential, there are no 100% guarantees as no testing can guard fully against allergies. They can develop at any time to anyone even after years of exposure. So you should always be aware of changes to your lashes.

CAN I WEAR EYE MAKE UP LIKE MASCARA?

You can if you really need to but you shouldn't if you keep up with your regular infill appointments. If however you do wish to do so only use water based mascara so it is water soluble and can be removed without the aid of oily removers. Also be careful with oily eyeliners, especially if you use liner on your top lid. The liner sits directly on the lash line and will break down your glue bonds over time. Instead try using a dark/black powder and with a thin damp brush run a line along the top. This is a much more efficient way of keeping your lash life long.

CAN I SWIM IN MY LASHES?

Yes you can. Lashes are perfect for holidays just remember not to rub your eyes, just pat them gently.
